May 16, 2020 UPDATE

It has been so nice to at least be able to gather at our various service times in a virtual world.  It certainly does not alleviate the longing to see and embrace one another or to pray with each other rather than for each other, but we know that we can and do trust our God in all matters. 

The Executive Committee has met, and while the outcome is short of what we would like, we must in the prudence of our God’s direction and the present day mandates move our regular camp meeting at the Alaska Christian Retreat located down Deville Road to next year.    

In light of the same information, Praise in the Park has also been cancelled for the June 7, 2020 date.  It is a possibility that we could work with the city to be on their schedule for a later summertime date if available.  Again, we will give plenty of notice if that possibility happens, in order for those desiring to participate to have sufficient time to do so.

Furthermore, at this time, we will continue to have our services live-streamed.  Actual presence in the church building for these services, with present day mitigation requirements, will be delayed for a while.

We are looking forward to the time when we can all join together side by side and hand in hand either as we join to worship our God in this world or as we are called home in that catching away of the Bride to be with Him.
